About me

My design journey began in industrial design and evolved into a passion for user experience, ultimately leading me to earn a Master’s in UX Design.

Along the way, I’ve worked at agencies like Xwerx and now Engine Digital, where I help shape thoughtful digital experiences for clients like Beem Credit Union. I’ve also applied my skills in the SaaS space at Cora Systems, designing tools that simplify complexity for enterprise users.

What I enjoy most is that “Aha!” moment—when research, iteration, and collaboration come together to unlock the right solution.

Outside of work, you’ll find me running, exploring new corners of British Columbia, catching up with friends, and tracking down the best tacos around.

My journey from industrial design to UX has been deeply influenced by Dieter Rams' 10 Principles of Good Design. These principles have shaped my approach, emphasizing clarity, purpose, and functionality in every project.

My Design Values

I believe in the power of innovation, but it should always serve the user's needs and enhance the product's purpose. My goal is to create intuitive designs that users can easily comprehend and navigate.

Understandable

A design should always meet the specific needs of its users. I focus on creating products that are not only functional but also provide real value and solve genuine problems.

Useful

Simplicity is key. I strive for designs that are clean, functional, and free from unnecessary complexity, ensuring that the user's experience is seamless and enjoyable.
